946,871 shirts. One city. Fourteen years.

Nearly a million garments printed right here in Charlotte. That's not a production number — that's a million moments of someone saying, this is who we are.

Fourteen years ago, Samir Hamid started PrintBliss out of Charlotte with a simple conviction: the people building this city deserve someone who takes their story seriously. Not a template. Not a transaction. A real partner who understands that a shirt is never just a shirt.

Today the numbers say something back. 20,275 orders. 9,527 unique clients. $5.4 million in revenue. Nearly a million garments printed and put on bodies across the Carolinas and beyond. That's 14 years of athletes, nonprofits, neighborhood organizations, faith communities, and first-time founders trusting PrintBliss with the thing that represents them.

Samir is Palestinian-American, born and raised in Charlotte. He didn't build PrintBliss in spite of this city — he built it because of it. Because Charlotte raises people who work hard and want to be seen. And for 14 years, PrintBliss has been in the business of making sure they are.

I've been doing this for 14 years. Right here in Charlotte. And when I look at the numbers — nearly a million garments, over 9,500 clients, $5.4 million moved through this community — I don't see a spreadsheet. I see the youth football team that came in with a hand-drawn logo and left looking like they belonged. I see the nonprofit that printed 200 shirts for their first gala and called me crying after because people actually showed up wearing them. I see the small brand that bet everything on their first run and came back 30 times since. That's what PrintBliss is. We're not just printing shirts. We're helping Charlotte tell its own story. And after 14 years, I can tell you — this city has a lot to say.

About This Story

PrintBliss is Charlotte's custom apparel company, founded in 2011 by Samir Hamid — a Palestinian-American born and raised in the city he's spent 14 years serving through print. With nearly 946,871 garments produced, 9,527 clients served, and over $5.4 million in revenue generated, PrintBliss has grown into one of the most trusted names in custom apparel across the Carolinas. The company specializes in serving local brands, athletes, nonprofits, and community organizations — the people who use clothing to build identity and belonging. For PrintBliss, a garment isn't a product. It's a story someone chose to wear. Fourteen years in, Samir and the team are still here, still Charlotte, still printing.

Fourteen years ago, Samir Hamid started PrintBliss with the belief that people building Charlotte deserved a real storytelling partner — not just a printer. Nearly a million garments later, that belief looks like 9,527 clients, 20,275 orders, and a company that's woven into the fabric of this city in the most literal way possible. This week we're marking the milestone — and telling the story behind the number.
